Surface Pro 7: Microsoft’s New 2-in-1 Device

Microsoft has truly outdone themselves with the anticipated release of the amazing Surface Pro 7

The series was first introduced back in 2012. Since then, we’ve seen lots of improvements with the models and hardware. A couple of different device types were introduced to the production-line as well, but Surface Pro stood its ground as one of the main products.

It’s basically a tablet that turns into a fully-functional laptop! We’ve heard all kinds of rumors and news regarding the release of Surface Pro 7. It’s highly anticipated as a durable device, known for both its efficiency and proficiency. It should be released by next October of 2019.

In this particular model, Microsoft has incorporated as much features and functionality into a slim design that is just both professional and cute. As a business owner or a manager, you’d want the Surface Pro 7 on you at all times to be on top of your entity.

Without further ado, let’s hop into this amazing device and see what’s under its hood…

Design, Detachable Keyboard, Overall Look:

What makes the Surface Pro a remarkable device to behold is its extra thin design that allows it to capture more eyes to its complexity. It looks incredibly simple, always have been. But lately, Microsoft unveiled a patent that ups the game of design for this release even a bit more.

The new design of the Surface Pro 7 will have less bezels, granting it a much slimmer profile. The footprints will also be reduced, along with a smaller Type Cover. Heck, they’re even talking about reshaping the kickstand!

Microsoft has proven so far with this device their capability to produce incredibly efficient designs. Since a lot of patents are following up to this Surface Pro release, we anticipate a lot of changes and new ideas incorporated into the 7th model. We have to trust the developers on this and we might be getting a 2-in-1 device to behold for years.

What About the Specifications of Surface Pro 7?

Let’s take a moment and look under the hood of this neat little thing. The new Surface Pro will run a Core i5 processor with a whopping 8GB of RAM. Its storage is estimated around 128 GB, which is fairly enough for the type.

In regards to the processor, the company is looking into using Qualcomm Snapdragon. They said they might opt for AMD chips. The good thing about Qualcomm chips is that it would support 5G already, not having to upgrade your device later on when the technology comes out.

Speculations around the internet suggests the use of USB-C ports in the new Surface Pro device. They haven’t been used for this series ever, compared to the smaller series Surface Go. The technology is highly anticipated by users worldwide to be integrated into their favorite Surface Pro devices. The Surface Pen is also said to be updated in this release, making it more efficient and easy to hold. It’s one of the main features of the Surface Pro, allowing the user to type-in on Word document and navigate the device more freely.

What Is the Price of the Surface Pro 7?

Well, the device itself costs around $900. But if you’re familiar with the Surface Pro series, and all other similar devices on the market, that price doesn’t really include either the keyboard or the pen. You’d have to get them separately. We hope Microsoft offers the whole thing as a bundle this time. It might reduce the price a little bit.

But for the specifications we’ve explored, along with the professional design of the Surface Pro 7, we’d say the device is definitely worth the bucks.

When Will It Be Released?

As we said earlier, the anticipated release of the Surface Pro 7 is said to be around October this year. However, the company might change its mind and wait for 2020 for their official release. We’ve seen such scenario happens with other models. We hope we get it later on this year. We can’t wait to get our hands on it!
